Saved email msgs insert my name when editing

I have this really annoying problem and I have tried everything but can't
seem to get rid of.
Everytime I save an email message and come back to finish it or edit it, my
name automatically gets inserted wherever I start typing to show the name of
the user who edited the message I guess. I don't have a shared computer so i
don't need this feature but I haven't figured out how to get rid of it.
Below is an example of what I'm refering to. The first line I entered was
'to whom it may concern' then I just saved the msg to finish it later. Once
I come back to continue, my name automatically shows up as soon as I start
typing a new word or sentence...

To whom it may concern,

[John Doe] Thank you for your interest in our company's...

Can someone please help and let me know how I can turn off this feature?

Thanks!
