Save Outlook message in Word format?

Is there a way to save Outlook e-mail messages in Word format? By default it
allows you to save as type html, txt, oft and msg but my users would prefer
to save it in word format. Is there possible a third party add-in that will
allow this?

The SaveAs method allows olRTF as a Type parameter, but only for messages
that are already in Rich Text format.

There's nothing preventing you from opening .txt or .html files in Word
though, so it is not necessarily imperative that you save as .rtf (depending
on your requirements).
