I may have done something I should not have done!

I ran save my settings Wizard on home PC, copied file to lap Top and
imported and now I'm have problems trying to import PST file in Outlook
(which I have dove a few times before!).

I have always kept PST file in a folder I keep backp's in and I'm getting
conflicts and can't even import a simple CSV file.

It there a way of undoing the what I have done by the Wizard import of the
OPS file?

I removed office and re - installed made no difference!

Using Office 2003 and XP with SP2

Thanks

Have you tried a system restore on the laptop?

Save My Settings will not usually work across different machines and
systems, as the files that get referred to, and put in the registry are
invariably in different places.

Thanks for reply, all sorted now.

However, since I sent first message I note on the Wizard process is
certainly says it should be possible to restore settings on another machine.

I cured Outlook PST problem by creating new PST file on main machine,
copying to Lap Top and (after deleting all old entries in Lap Top version of
PST file) overwriting and restarting Outlook. Maybe it's not recommended
way, but it worked!
