save file as

Just today...when I download an image that is always a jpg file, I can only
save it as a bmp where before it would save as the a jpg. I have no options
to save as jpg. This just started happeing today. I cannot find anywhere to
change this. Please...does anyone have an idea how to fix this....

Try emptying your IE temp files cache.
 
Hi Ron,

A full to overflowing Temporary Internet Files (TIF) folder causes this. The
solution is to clear it. Go to the control panel/internet options, and in
the TIF section, click on "delete files". Then retry saving the picture
file.

Delete the temporary internet files. In IE go to tools, Internet
Options, Temporary Internet Files - Delete Files. Put a tick mark in
Delete all offline content and Ok your way out.
