Save disabled, Save Complete Page gone...

Hi All,

my save-menu is greyed out, and the option to save a complete webpage
(w/pics, css et al) have vanished completely. I have tried to browse through
the Internet Settings, and browsed some registry settings, but I have no ide
to why this is happening.

I have runned antivirus / spyware, and nothing is detected. I run IE6 sp2 w/
Google / Adobe PDF toolbars added.

Anyone that have an idea?

TIA,

Hi,
The greyed out Save menu is normal. Save as should be available.

Search the registry for this value (right pane) "NoBrowserSaveWebComplete"
It may be in either of these keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Restrictions
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions
If you find it, change the value from 1 (one) to 0 (zero)
Administrators sometimes set that restriction to save disk space.

If that's not the case, this article may help:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;198061

Hope this helps,
Don
