"Save As:" takes a long time

I am running Office XP on Windows XP Pro. In Word or
Excel, the File Save As dialog box takes a very long time
to move between folders. It eventually opens the folder I
click on but often takes a 2 minutes or so.
Other programs do not do this so I am sure this is a
Office XP issue.

i have the same problem here at my work only then it's
only WORD97 that has this problem and i also don't know
how to solve the problem. Does somebody else knows? email
me please!
