Save as in IE is missing shortcut ions

Whenever I save anything in IE the save dialog box is missing all the
shortcut icons on the left hand side except for my pictures. Any Idea on
how I can get them back?

Are you having this problem only in IE??? When in Word or Excel and you hit
"open" do you see all of your shortcut icons there? If no, then go to the
Look in address bar and click on desktop. While there click on the file you
want to have on your shortcut list, such as My Computer, and then go to
Tools. Select Add to My Places. You can rearrange the order by right
clicking over the icons and choosing to move them up or down.

If you do have all shortcut icons when using Office though, then sorry I
have no suggestion.

Yes, I have the shortcut icons in office (word, excel, etc) but just not in IE.
