Satellite Assemblies - de-DE vs de

Hi

What determines if the Satellite assemblies should be in a dir "de-DE" or "de"

I built some satellite assembles with resource files resourcefile.de-DE.resx
and my app finds these in /de-DE but I also have a third party app satellite
assemblies and they must be in /de

Is it the extension that matters
resourcefile.de-DE.resx - has to be in /de-DE
resourcefile.de.resx - has to be in /de

I use
System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = new
System.Globalization.CultureInfo("de-DE");
System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = new
System.Globalization.CultureInfo("de");

Hello,

Generally speaking, "de-DE" and "de" are different culture info, "de-DE" is
"German - Germany" and "de" is "German".

At same time, we can only use on CurrentCulture, so in your code, the
culture "de" is finally used. If the third party app satellite assemblies
and they must be in /de, you have create a resource files
resourcefile.de.resx also, and put it in folder "de".
