Sasser Worm Issues

I found an interesting issue with the Sasser Worm Virus.
It seems that not only will the Sasser worm shut the
system down, but will also disable the Blaster Worm Patch.
I have to continually run the Shutdown command and
reinstall the Blaster Worm Patch.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Additionally, I find that if you keep the task panel open
and as soon as the ####_up comes up and you end task on
it, it works, however if there is more than one entry for
that, it will not allow you to end task.

I find that if I use current Virus protection and MS security patches, I
don't get any of that crap.
