sasser mass mailing virus and lsass.exe

hi,

I have the sasser virus and i used nortons av to get rid of it but lsass.exe
is still infected with it as i do not know what this program does so i did
not delete it. And my computer is still sending or uploading something all
the time even though the other components of the sasser virus have been
deleted. What is it sending now ??? How do i fix the lsass.exe prog ?? Can i
just delete it ??

Sasser is a remote virus.Best way to get rid from it is,format the hdd and install the os.After installing the os enable the firewall feature we have in winxp.Download the patches recommended by microsoft.

you always use such drastic measures to eliminate - I hesitate to use
the word "solve" - simple problems?

Install and enable a good firewall. Install and use a good
antivirus application. Scan your system for, and remove,
adware/spyware.
