Sasser.d virus in System Volume folder

Hi

AVG anti-virus has found the sasser.d virus in my system volume information
folder. I can't get into it. I have allowed myself access to the folder, and
I have enabled the view, but Explorer won't let me access it. I'm assuming I
need to do this to get at the virus. AVG won't pick it up once I'm logged
in, only at the LOGIN screen.

Any ideas??

You'll need to turn-off System Restore, reboot, then turn it back on.
The virus has infected your System Restore folder (system volume information).

You have to turn off system restore, this will get rid of the virus,
after rebooting and performing a virus scan, turn system restore on
again.
