I have downloaded sabayon linux - to look at .....

The layout and supplied software looks great if you could use it without
an Internet connection ........

Does anybody out there know how to change the autodetected settings -
in Kanotix my Network settings can be set manually ......
Where can you do this in (The Sabayon menus) - anybody know ?
Its Control Centre - Internet and Network - Network Settings in Kanotix
( I Cannot find it in the DVD version of Sabayon I downloaded )
or is there a relatively easy way from a console ?
I use a LiveBox connected by USB -
Sabayon (Gentoo) wants to set me up on eth0 using my
VIA Rhine Ethernet Network Adapter which is not connected
