Runtime Error

recently when I tried to open the links in web-page, a
pop-up window came out saying that there was an runtime error

this program has request the runtime library to terminate it in an unusual
way
please contact the program support tream for more information

then when I clicked the ok button, all internet explorer windows were closed
Does any one know why?

The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6. Source:
