runtime error

When I access some websites, such as ESPN.com, an error
dialog appears about 2/4 of the way through the load
which says "A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to
debug? Line: 1318 Error: Object expected" The line
number is different depending on the web site, but I get
the error on different pages. When I click YES to debug,
I have no idea what I'm doing, a d it doesn't seem to
work anyway.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

In IE try: tools/internet options/advanced tab. Uncheck
the box which says "display a notification about every
script error".

In addition to jackp's suggestion, also on that Advanced tab in Tools...Internet Options, check the box besides "Disable script debugging", click Okay. If no joy, try reinstalling your scripting engines:
