Runtime Error in Veritas

D

Darrel S.

I have a problem. When my computer turns on and gets to the desktop screen,
I get a runtime error that states there is a problem in veritas. After the
computer is running for about 5 minutes the scree goes blank and the a
message appears saying computer going into power saving mode. I then have to
do a hard shutdown and sometimes I can't even get the computer to boot up.
It will just say computer going into power saving mode. Is there a way to fix
this without having to take it to a computer repair center? Is there a fix I
can download?

Go to Control Panel and click the Power Options icon. Change your power
settings there.

Veritas is a Symantec backup software application, I would call Symantec and
have them diagnose the problem with their software.
