Runtime error in programme files

I have read loads of queries and suggested solutions to runtime errors in IE,
but the message I get every time I start up is for a runtime error with this
message:
"....programme files\commom files\sonic\update manger\sgtray.exe"

It does not seem to affect use of my laptop, although it is running slowly
and occasionally crashes! So...any help out there please?/

sgtray.exe is not a core component of Windows. Rename it to
"sgtray.bad" and watch what happens.

the runtime error relates to Sonic not IE,do a search in Sonic for solution

It's all sorted. I simply uninstalled Sonic Update Manager!
