Runtime error at launch

Bob

I give up. Maybe someone else has some insight I can use.
The problem I have occurs when I launch IE 6. I get a "a
rutime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?" Beneath
the messege it will show a line number and below that it
say "Error in loading DLL." I guse I'm missing a dll, and
if I am, I don't know what dll that might be. If I select
"yes" to the debug option, a "just in time" window pops
with a text box showing "Possible debuggers". The only one
inside this box "new instance of microsoft scrit editor."
If I elect to use the debugger, a scrit editor pops uowidow
that a displays "miscrosoft script editor has encountered a
problem and need to shut down". Catch 22. Does anyone have
a clue to what is causing this and how I can fix it? Much
thamks to anyone who can.

Post the exact error message if this is not the cause.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
