runtime error 200

I am trying to run a setup.exe for a DOS program in XP Home SP2 and keep
getting a "runtime error 200 at xxxx.xxxx

Is there a way to make this run in XP? It ran and installed the program on
a previous XP PC.

It's a classic error - caused by the speed of the machine. Mystery why it
ran on a previous XP machine, though - it occurs where the clock-speed is
200MHz or so (that's TWO HUNDRED) - and IIRC, XP can't be installed on slow
machines...

Try Googling for "runtime 200" to locate patching software - haven't needed
to do this myself for years, so I'm afraid I can't recommend anything...

Thank you. That sets me on the right path. This PC is much faster that the
other one.

I've run into this problem before and have a utility that slows it down,

Thanks.
