Running PowerPoint 2007 in the background

I would like to be able to run a PPT file on a second monitor at the same
time I am using other applications. Is there a setting that I can designate
to do so? Right now, when I run the slide show, as soon as I start using
another application (ie: Outlook, Word, OneNote), the slide show freezes on
whatever slide it happens to be on. I just want Power Point to run in the
background. Thanks for any insight that can be offered.
