Running installed program

I run a Vista PC with administration account. I'm also a programmer and I
develop in a second PC. Whenever I install my own program in the Vista PC
it works fine but if I copy&paste the files to the right folder it crashes
with a GPE
Can someone advice please?
Regards

Commercial applications require to be installed correctly using their setup
routines. So you cannot just copy the folder and files from one PC to
another and expect them to work.
Also you need to check your license agreement for the applications to ensure
that you are allowed to install it to more than one PC per license you
bought.
If you are talking about applications you have written yourself then are you
sure that you have all of the necessary runtime support on the second
machine and that the environment to execute the application is setup
correctly in terms of registry updates, environment variables etc etc.
Without knowing more about what applications you are talking about it is
hard to provide anymore help.
