Running Access on a DualCore Mac

J

John

I'm am about to begin shopping for a NEW PC once again.
However I am beginning to think about buying a new Dualcore MAC. I am told
that I can run all Windows programs if I get the "Virtual PC" program on the
Mac. I am also told by others that I CAN'T run Access on the Mac.
Is there anyone out there who is doing this. If I can't now, will I
eventually be able to run Access on a Mac.
Thank You for any advice....

There are definitely some Windows emulator programs for Macs that are
capable of running Access. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the
ones that are known to work.

AFAIK, Microsoft has no plans to port Access to the Mac platform.

Virtual PC should be able to run any windows program so I'm sure it will run
Access. I have A2003 installed on my laptop but I am using Virtual PC to
run Access 97 and in a different instance, the Beta 2007 version.
