I have the same problem, I think I know what happened but dont' know how to resolve it either. Did you ever get an email telling you to delete a file that had a TEDDY BEAR icon and was told it was a virus??? I did and deleted that...only later to find that it was a hoax. I think that is what caused this to show up. Even so, I don't have a way to recover that once I deleted it and dumped my trash folder.

Go to your Start button, click Run and run the misconfigure that is already displayed, then click your Start tab...it shows everything your computer runs on start up.

Unclick the items that show errors on booting up. Then restart your computer, they should not be there after that. It worked for me and I had the same display error. Hope it works for you.

Thank you for your reply! When I go to my start button
and click run, the run window pops up with a blank box,
there is no misconfigure displayed? What should I type in
the Open: box? Your help is greatly appreciated!
