(I posted the same question in the apps and was told to post in Networking)
Hi,
How can I do a runas command and still have an app that is run with that
command, and browse the network drives? (using local admin or any user ID)
Even notepad.exe won't browse network drives when run with the Runas
command. I know there is a /trustlevel switch for runas, but I haven't
figured out how it is used and even if it would help. It seems that the
limitation
for Runas and not being able to browse the network drives with the app that
is invoked with the Runas command, has been around for awhile.
Thanks for any info.
BTW, any manually mapped drives that are not logon scripted, show up fine in
any app started with the Runas command.
Thanks,
Jeff L.
