Hi,
Another one. In the past I've made a CDR with a bootable Windows 98 SE on
it. Pretty handy for virusscanning and recovery jobs. But Win98SE lack
support of NTFS and isn't able to modify some thing on Win2K Pro and WinXP
Home/Pro machines. But I've seen a HP pre-installed CD with WinXP running on
it for recovering Windows (full restore using something sysprep or
driveimage).
Is it possible to create a bootable CD with WinXP running from CD? (the
Win98 created a RAM disk to move all it;s temporary data to). It's no
problem running in 16 or 256 color mode and 640x480 or 800x600.
Links on howto's is no problem.
Thanks,
Jeroen
