Close Internet Explorer.
Go to Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced Tab. Place a check mark in the
"Disable script debugging" option. Remove the check mark from the "Display a
notification about every script error" option.

Is there any difference if Tony had chosen the 'Tools' menu in Internet
Explorer and then selected 'Internet options'?
Does IE need to be restarted after removing the check mark?
Just curious since I usually access the Internet Options from within IE
if I am using IE at the time.

It usually doesn't matter which way you access the options, except that some
options do require a restart of IE. Accessing these options from CP with IE
closed simply covers all the bases. :)
