Run NTbackup from desktop

Is there any simple way to start NTbackup in windows 2000 & xp by
clicking an icon on desktop so the user does not have to load the
backup selections. Ie: I have a group of laptop users who I have
scheduled backups for to a server drive but as they are often out of
the office when the scheduler would normally run I want to make it as
simple as possible for them to do manually.

I have tried to put the scheduled backup details into a batch file but
each time I run it it does try to open the backup program then shuts
it very quickly without backup up.

Thanks in advance
Cath

Check the informations for "ntbackup" in Help & Support to find out
more about command-line parameters for the software. You should be
able to create a shortcut with these informations.
