Under the group policies how do you restore the "run menu"
item once it is disabled? I hav ethis problem on several
machines and cannot get the "run" back to the start
menu...any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hi Navybeck,

Have you tried changing the "Remove Run menu from Start Menu" policy from Enabled to
Disabled and allowing enough time for the policy to update (by default, user Group
Policy is updated in the background every 90 minutes, with a random offset of 0 to 30
minutes)? After the policy updates (the Run menu is restored), then set it to Not
configured.

After disabling the policy,
set NoRun to 0 using tip 50 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com
