what you think about this?

Nothing, as long as certain legitimate spyware/adware

It doesn't make much sense to me, you hear what that
crap can do to your computer and you hear warnings about
what you shouldn't download and what you should download
and even Microsoft knows the crap it can do to your
computer and now they are buying a maker of it? It's
Microsoft's fault spyware exists in the first place,
instead of fixing the problem they by out a spyware maker
with cruel intentions of their own $.

If we can't trust Microsoft who can we trust?

As of update #5731, MS downgraded Gator/Claria
detections. Instead of recommending Quarantine the
default recommended action is now "Ignore".

Thanks, OK. I'm going to expand upon that news by
re-posting Eric Howe's announcement at DRL Reports.
