Rules

I use Outlook 2003 from a desktop and a laptop computer. My .pst file is
stored on a network drive so that I can access it form either machine.

Everything works OK except that the first time I use the "other" machine I
get a rules error; if I go into rules and click on "run rules now" they work
fine and if I re-enable the rules that have been disabled they work and
continue to do so until I close outloook and open it on the "other" machine
again.

Any ideas?

Rules contain not only the conditions and actions, but a specifier of what
machine was used to create the rules. When you access the rules from the
other machine, the names don't match and the rules' automatic execution is
disabled. By reenabling them you rewrite the machine information to match
the current machine.
