Can anyone tell me why, when I use a Rule to place an
email received from a certain address, and place it into
a specific folder, I get a copy in the inbox and a copy
of the same thing in the specific folder.

I am running WinXP and OL 2002.

Are you sure your rule says "Move" or does it say "Move a copy..."?
