Rules for receipient's email address

I am trying to make a rule condition using the recipient's address. There is
none and 'specific words' in the recipient's address does not work when I use
the email address. Any idea how I can do this?

I have many addresses forwarded to an account and want to sort the messages
by the recipient address or reply with a specific template.

What do you mean with "does not work"?
What is the exact rule that you created?
Which version of Outlook are you using?
Which mail account type are you using?

You should be able to create a rule directly based on the recipients
address. There is no need to use the "specific words" condition for that.

"does not work" means that when mail is received the action I requested does
not happen.
I tried several rules all having to do with some variation of the email
address and the "specific words" in the recipient's address. one is:
Apply this rule after the message arrives with '(e-mail address removed)' in the
recipient's address
reply using 'c:/template.oft

I am using Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager
I am using a POP3 account

Try changing the rule to this;

Apply this rule after the message arrives
from (e-mail address removed)
reply using "C:\your path to your documents\Outlook\template.oft"

It's not proper practice to store your templates in the root directory. Use
your Documents folder instead. Personally I place my Outlook related files
in a subfolder called Outlook.

If you're having issues with running in general then see;
