Rules & Alerts - Automatic Reply Not Working

D

DScott

In anticipation of leaving town, I recently set an automatic reply on my
e-mail. However, it does not appear to be working. I receive an error
message with each incoming message that the rule is not working. Any
trobleshooting suggestions? Please note, I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007
and I do not have have an exchange server. -- Thanks.

Diane -- Thank you so much for the quick reply. It is helpful to know that
it may not be something that I am doing wrong. -- Have a great weekend!

It's definitely not anything you are doing. We don't know what exactly is
causing it - SP2 or a later update.

I am having a similar problem as of 12/1/09. I am trying to reply to certain
messages with a specific template but get a "Rules in error" popup that says
it cannot reply to message. Is this still an ongoing/known issue?

To the best of my recollection, it hasn't been fixed yet. Make sure you have
the latest updates installed and stay current on them - the fix will most
likely be in an update.
