Rule to reply only to senders in my address book

I want to use an "out of Office" reply while away on vacation, but:
1) I don't use an Exchange Server - only POP3 internet mail
2) I only want to reply to senders whose names are in my Contacts (ie - I
don't want to risk responding to SPAM or unsolicited emails from vendors etc.
which would thus be confirming my email address and existence....)
How can I set up a rule which checks sender against my whole address book?

You can create a rule for inbound mail that checks to see if the sender of
the inbound item is in a specified address book (the address book being the
Contacts 'address book' in your case).
