The error is as follows:
PROBLEM
"System is shutting down, Please save all work and log
off. Any unsaved data will be lost. This shut down is
initiated (NT authority system) RPC"
SOLUTION
The fix is to disable the RPC service for now and then
download the Patch from microsoft to resolve the RPC error.
1) Click on Start->Control Panel ->Administrative tools-
Call (RPC) and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator.
3) Double click on Remote Procedure Call (RPC) , on the
General tab click on the Stop button.
4) On the Recovery Tab on the First Failure Drop down box
choose "Take no Action" on the Second Failure drop down
box choose "Take no Action", on the Subsequent Failure
drop down box choose on "Take no Action"
5) Similarly Stop "Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator" as
in step 3, and repeat Step 4
6) Click on OK and Restart the computer.
NOTE: YOU WOULD STILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET
even after disabling RPC service
Before doing this u have to download windows patch for RPC.
Regards,
Harish.
