RPC service gets error when shutdown Windows

Hi all,
When I shutdown Windows, I always get the error message
Application popup: svchost.exe - Application Error : The instruction at
"0x7c9118d2" referenced memory at "0xacf5001c". The memory could not be
"written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

So I saw in Event Log, I recognized there were 2 errors that had happened
before event log service stopped
These are 2 error messages that recorded in Event Log
- The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly. It has
done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000
milliseconds: Reboot the machine.
- The Service Control Manager tried to take a corrective action (Reboot the
machine) after the unexpected termination of the Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
service, but this action failed with the following error:
The device is not ready.

I really don't understand why Windows got these errors because Windows had
run smoothly so far. It just happens in this week. Last Sunday, I move my
second harddisk from IDE2 to IDE1 and DVD from IDE1 to IDE2. So, I don't know
if these errors happens when I moved HDD and DVD.
My computer has 2 OSs
- Windows XP SP2
- Fedora Core 3

Please hep me

Thank you

Sorry, but it has to be asked:

Antivirus and spyware scan?
Are your drives configured for cable select or master/slave?
Have you run a hard drive integrity test such as HDTune or Data Lifeguard?

This seems to indicate that your RAM may be faulty or failing. Locate
MemTest86+ and check your RAM. Replace the defective RAM module.
