RPC Server unavailable

Hi...I am trying to join a domain with a WIN XP machine
to Windows 2000 server. However, I get the message RPC
Server is unavailable. I have previously joined 5
machines this week without any hassles. Can anyone help
me with this problem??

Make sure that only the domain controller is configured as the preferred dns
server of the XP Pro machine in tcp/ip properties and that the built in ICF
firewall is disabled. Netdiag can also be helpful in troubleshooting these
problems as described in KB link below. --- Steve
