RPC error

Hi Iam running a windows200 advanced server. I am often
thrown with the following errors
"The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated
unexpectedly. It has done this 5 time(s). The following
corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No
action."

Every time i have to start the service manually .

and also an another error

"The server {1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-00C04FB926AF} did not
register with DCOM within the required timeout"
What does this mean .


Please suggest how to fix.

My server runs SP3

Get a firewall! You NEED one. There are several free ones, including
ZoneAlarm ( www.zonealarm.com ) and Sygate ( www.sygate.com )

Then go to WindowsUpdate to pick up the latest updates:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
