O
oo Mike oo
I was having trouble with my laptop seeing my desktop computer at
home, so I decided to do a system restore to a point when it was
working. Sometime between when I restored and the restore point that I
used I had uninstalled roxio.
This did fix the network sharing issue. However, now when ever I try
to move a file I get a bunch of error windows as follows:
A "Windows Installer" window pops up and says "preparing to
install..."
Then Severe X - Unable to find a certificate file. I Click OK
Then Severe X - There was a problem authenticating your version.
Please make sure your system is set to the current date. I click OK
If I click cancel while the first windows installer window is open
then there is a window with a reference to "Roxio Easy Media Creator
7 Basic DVD Edition" (no longer installed)
Is this a Roxio issue?
Would a XP repair install fix this?
I have no idea where to start tackling this thing, I don't want
anything to do with roxio on my computer.
Thanks in advance
