Roxio label creator won't start up on windows xp

I'm running windows xp sp1 and I purchased roxio easy cd &
dvd creator 6.0 about a year ago. Recently, I've
experienced an issue with label creator, it won't start.
When I click on the label creator link, an error report is
displayed that says label creator has encountered a
problem and needs to close (the standard message for a
program error). Anyone else having similar problems and if
so, how can it be fixed?
