Row protection

I have a large spreadsheet that I need to protect some rows. These row
are not in sequence or determined interval. These rows contain formula
which I would like them to be password protected

I'm guessing that your core problem lies in selecting all the formula cells

You can press F5>Special>Check Formulas>OK
to select all cells with formulas in that sheet in one go

Usual sequence to protect:
"Unlock" entire sheet (via Format>Cells>Protection tab), then
"Lock" all formula cells in the sheet (after selecting as above, via
Format>Cells>Protection tab)
Apply Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet (password, etc)
