Hello,
I have two networks. 192.x.x.x using linksys router.
10.x.x.x using cisco router.
XP pro workstations on 192.x.x.x network speak to each other as well as a
server. There are a few workstations with 192.x.x.x addresses but the
gateway is the 10.x.x.x of the Cisco router. These workstations have to talk
to another system across the Cisco router. They do not access the Internet
due to the configuration. Would like to change these workstations so they
have 192.x.x.x as the default gateway so they can access the Internet. They
still need to access the 10.x.x.x when needed. Do not want second nic in
workstation because of wiring constraints and location. Looking for the
correct solution.
Is it a route statement at workstation?
Can I give the workstation a second IP address?
Do I keep the same configuration on those workstations and change the Cisco
router to point to the Linksys router for any traffic destined for the
192.x.x.x network?
Any help would be appreciated
