Rotate Screen in WM 2003 using CF1.1

Hi All,

i am developing an application in compact framework 1.1 using VB.net.

I want my application to be displayed only in Portrait mode. Even if
user set the screen orientation mode to landscape, my application
should change it to portrait.

any code snippets and links are appreciated and welcomed

You need to P/Invoke ChangeDisplaySettingsEx:-

There is a wrapper in this library -
http://www.inthehand.com/WindowsMobile.aspx including the free community
edition. This matches the .NETCF v2.0
Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.SystemSettings.ScreenOrientation
