Root Drive Share

Hello,
I have a 40gb hard drive using XP which has 2 partitions. C, D is the CD ROM
and E is the other partition. I would like to share E and connect from a
Windows 2000 machine in a home network. I can make a folder under E and
share its resources but I can not share the drive itself. The message says
drive not accessible and I receive a warning about sharing a root drive. How
do I enable this to share a root drive as it is only used for storage.

What happens when you do this?
- Click Start / Run / cmd {OK}
- Type net share Data=E:\ {Enter}
