Rollout Office 2003 modifications via Group Policy

Hello,
Here is a basic idea of how my network is setup. We have 2003 domain
controllers and Win XP sp2 clients running Office 2003 that was already
deployed via group policy successfuly about a year ago.

I would like to find a way to roll out some changes to all of my
existing installations. I have created a CMW (Custom Maintenance
Wizard) file with these changes and have tested it out on one machine
to verify that it works.

Is there a way either through group policy or another method I could
roll this out to all of my users..even users that do not have local
admin rights on their workstations?

thanks!

Howdy!

I would like to find a way to roll out some changes to all of my
existing installations. I have created a CMW (Custom Maintenance
Wizard) file with these changes and have tested it out on one machine
to verify that it works.

Depending on what you want to do and want to change to your existing
installations, you could use the Custom Installation Wizard which
creates a MST-file file for you ( - as I can see the two programs enable
you to do pretty much the same things). This MST file is a transform
file which can easily be attached to your existing office-rollout-GPO.
You would just have to roll the package out again and all machines will
overtake the changes.

cheers,

Florian
