Reverse Sort

We keep track of our files by date in the file name, 071707 for July 7, 2007
for example. This work fine accept that the most recent files are at the end
of the list. I am sure that this is how XP is supposed to do things but it
would be nice if the most current files were at the top of the list so I do
not have to page down to find them. Is there a way to get XP to reverse its
sort order?

Add the field "Date Modified" to your Explorer Window and sort by that....

In Windows Explorer or My Computer, you can sort on any field by simply
clicking on the header for that field. To reverse the order of that sort,
click the header a second time.

No quite what I was looking for but it did give me what I wanted. I found
that if I switch from view list to view details, then click the header fot
the file names (which reverses its order) and then switch back to view list
the reverse order stays. So thaks guys, it now displays the way I wanted it
to.
