reverse printing

computer is 5yrs with 192meg ram. original operating system was Windows 98SE. had all print jobs selected to do a reverse print. Upgraded to xp pro and had printed up a two page document with reverse printing. It didn't work. went in under pages and fax center chose default printer and checked properties and printing preferences. The option for back to front printing is selected. the word processing programs have all been reinstalled. The printer is a brother 7150c mfc. So far, having to save every document to reverse print is a waste of time. Can anything be done to correct this issue?

Greetings --

Have you downloaded and installed the latest WinXP-specific print
drivers from the manufacturer's web site? Have you asked the printer
manufacturer if that model printer can even support "reverse printing"
when used in conjunction with WinXP?

while waiting to hear from printer manufacturer, talked to an aquaintenance who works with computers. appearently with x
if the system is told to print back to front and the software is told to print back to front it may cause some "miscommunication" and print normally (front to back) he suggested either let the software make the decision or the operating system not both. followed up on his suggestion when we got home from teaching a class and it did work
