Reusing custom animation sequences in PPTs

If I spend the time to create a custom animation
sequence, say a swivel with changes in the text on each
rotation (a la TV effects), can I reuse the effect in
other projects by a copy and paste- (it may involve
several entrance/exit effects across multiple text fields-
not to mention getting the timing right)Or do I have to
painstaking recreate the sequence for each presentation?
