Return to switchboard form when query closes

Hi All,

I have a switchboard form that contains an instruction to run a macro, which
effectively opens a query. I have the database window hidden and the macro
closes the switchboard prior to the query opening.

What I need is when the query closes, the switchboard form to re-open. Is
that possible and if so how do I achieve it??

That is not possible. And you should not allow users in your queries,
but rather create forms (perhaps in datasheet view) and reports for
them to see / edit the data.
Once you do, you get the control you seek, for example in the
Form_Close event you can show the Switchboard form again.

Many thanks Tom, I will bear that it mind and create the form or report that
you refer to.

Thanks again,
