Retrieve Messages without .PST file

Is there a way to retrieve messages without importing a .pst file? Running
Win XP and Outlook 2k and am trying to retriveve messages from an old user
account to a new one. Every time I try and view/import a .pst the folder
shows empty?

Why are you importing? If you want to read the data in a non-default .pst
file, use File | Open | Personal Folders file, then use the Folder List to
navigate it.
