Retreiving MSWMM files

Guest

I have saved a few project files in MSWMM-including my latest holiday. Once saved, I have retreived them whilst computer is on. Once I have shut down, I cannot re-retreive them and the message "MSWMM is not a supported file type and cannot be imported into Windows MM". The files still exist in Windows Explorer as Windows Movie Maker Project. Can I get these files to display? Any help much appreciated.

You can't import .MSWMM files into Movie Maker since it isn't a "movie" by
itself. It is only a saved movie maker project. Instead, go to file -> open
project -> and then select your .MSWMM file. That will allow you to edit
your work where you saved it last. Hope this helps.
